about

Ben and I have worked on a number of projects over the years, including movie scores for “The Shade” and “Apartment #5c”, live performances with the Norwegian vocalist Karin Krog, and albums such as “Electric Element” and “Infinite Paths” on Meantime Records.
We had always talked about putting together a collection of duo tracks, but it was not until we both found ourselves in ‘lockdown’ during the covid-19 crisis that things finally came together. I was in Oslo, Norway and Ben in upstate New York. We began work exchanging music files and ideas over the net, firstly developing the piece entitled White Horses - a descriptive expression for white-topped waves at sea. The rest of the music developed from there. I think the fact that we were separated by the Atlantic Ocean led to the maritime flavour of the titles. Enjoy.
